Oxidized Polyethylene Wax（OPE WAX）

Oxidized polyethylene wax is also known as OPE, is obtained by oxidation of polyethylene wax. Its molecules have polar groups like carbonyl groups and hydroxyl groups, a property which increases the compatibility with fillers, pigments, and polar resins. OPE can be used as an internal lubricant and external lubricant. Currently Qingdao East International Corp. has LDPE OPE Wax – EP629 and HDPE OPE Wax – EP316. They are both oxidized by thermal cracking PE wax.
