However, it has similar chemical resistance, excellent electrical performance, and excellent heat resistance to polyethylene hydrocarbon resins. It has excellent compatibility with various plastics, waxes, resins, etc. Has special dissolution behavior towards solvents.

2、 Appearance of polyethylene wax

Polyethylene wax is a chemical material, in which the color of polyethylene wax is small white beads/flakes, formed by ethylene polymerization rubber processing agents. It has the characteristics of high melting point, high hardness, high glossiness, and snow-white color.

Polyethylene wax is a low molecular weight polyethylene homopolymer or copolymer widely used in coatings. The so-called wax refers to the wax like substance that the polymer ultimately floats in the form of microcrystals on the surface of the coating, resembling paraffin in appearance but with more different properties than paraffin.

The main functions of polyethylene wax in solvent based coatings are: extinction, scratch resistance, wear resistance, polishing resistance, engraving resistance, anti adhesion, anti precipitation, and thixotropy; Good lubrication and processability; Localization of metal pigments.

3、 The use of polyethylene wax:

1). Thick color masterbatch and filling masterbatch. As a dispersant in the processing of color masterbatch, it is widely used in polyolefin color masterbatch. It has good compatibility with resins such as polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride, and polypropylene, and has excellent external and internal lubrication effects.

2). PVC profiles, pipes, and composite stabilizers are used as dispersants, lubricants, and brighteners in the molding process of PVC profiles, pipes, fittings, and PE-PP to enhance the degree of plasticization, improve the toughness and surface smoothness of plastic products. They are widely used in the production of PVC composite stabilizers.

3). Ink has good light resistance and chemical properties, and can be used as a carrier for pigments. It can improve the wear resistance of paints and inks, improve the dispersion of pigments and fillers, and have a good anti settling effect. It can be used as a leveling agent for paints and inks, making products have good luster and three-dimensional sense.

4).Wax products are widely used in the production of various wax products such as floor wax, car wax, polishing wax, candles, crayons, etc., to improve the softening point of wax products, increase their strength and surface glossiness.

5). Cable material is used as a lubricant for cable insulation materials, which can enhance the diffusion of fillers, improve extrusion molding rate, increase mold flow rate, and facilitate demolding.

6). Hot melt products are used as dispersants for various hot melt adhesives, thermosetting powder coatings, road marking paints, and marking paints. They have good anti settling effects and give the products a good gloss and three-dimensional feel.

7).As a rubber processing aid, rubber can enhance the diffusion of fillers, improve extrusion molding rate, increase mold flow rate, facilitate demolding, and improve the surface brightness and smoothness of the product after demolding.

4、 Applicable scope:

Due to its excellent external lubrication and strong internal lubrication, it has good compatibility with resins such as polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride, and polypropylene,

It can be used as a lubricant in extrusion, rolling, and injection processing. It can improve processing efficiency, prevent and overcome adhesion of thin films, pipes, and sheets, improve the smoothness and glossiness of the finished product, and improve the appearance of the finished product.

As a thickened masterbatch dispersant for various thermoplastic resins, as well as a lubricating dispersant for filling and degrading masterbatches, it can improve the processing performance, surface gloss, lubricity, and thermal stability of HDPE, PP, and PVC.

3. Used as a lubricant for cable insulation materials, it can enhance the diffusion of fillers, improve extrusion molding rate, increase mold flow rate, and facilitate demolding.

5、 Product addition amount:

*Hot melt adhesive: To improve the flowability of products based on polyolefin or EVA, it is recommended to add 10-30%;

*PVC: As an external lubricant for hard PVC products, it is recommended to add 0.5-1 phr;

*Thermoplastic road signs: using hydrocarbon resin as the base material, it is recommended to add 2-8%;

*Color masterbatch: To improve the dispersion effect of pigments and fillers in polyolefin based materials, it is recommended to add 5-10%;

*Cable filling: to improve the shielding effect of moisture erosion, it is recommended to add 5-10phr;

*Rubber: To protect rubber from the erosion of static ozone and improve the dispersibility of carbon black in rubber, it is recommended to add 2-10phr;

*Candles: To improve the opacity, mechanical properties, and extend the burning time of candles, it is recommended to add 1-4%.

6、 【 Usage 】 

It is an additive and processing aid for rubber, plastic, ink, fiber, wax products, etc., to improve the dye dispersion, brightness, lubricity, and processing performance of processed products. It can also be used as a raw material for producing oxidized polyethylene.
